Religious Icon
Here is a commission for a framing of a very sentimental religious icon held in the family . With consultation with the client we arrived at a full but elegant result which resulted in a double framing of the original with two heavy outer frames, the intermediate framing holding the glass for the glazed in effect. The initial icon was not rectangular so we had to fill in the arched area with appropriate ornamentation filler . Below you see the before and after effect
